A Queen's Diary

How often do you hear people say that it's not the right time? I'll give you an example. You ever hear parents say that they're going to wait to do something for their child until the child is old enough to remember, like throw them a party or take them to Disney World?
We have to learn to live in the NOW and create great memories whether your child will remember or not. We may not be alive to even see the time that we've deemed 'right.' My favorite motivational quote is, 'One day, you're going to run out of one days.' This example also applies to life and achieving your goals. Start that diet, go on that trip, step out on FAITH and move into that new house or start that new business. Using your breath to say, 'I'll do it when the time is right,' is a waste of air. Sometimes we become so complacent on the words we speak, 'I will eventually.' Procrastination becomes complacency and it will drive you further from your goals than you were when you first spoke these goals over your life. Start now, for each day isn't promised to us so that when you lay down for your final rest, you will rest peacefully in knowing that you started and you gave it your all! -Queen Neeke

One of the greatest actors I have seen once said that if you have the chance to do it now, do it, so you can have more time to do new things for tomorrow. That really caught my attention and inspires me to do well in life. I have started working the corporate industry and it was really different from the academic world. I can say that studying is much better than working. Your time will be lessened due to required working hours so if you have the chance, always grab it and do it now!
